In this task of assignment I am going to compare 3 different websites (Private Sector: H&M company, Public Sector: TFL and NGO: Barnardos Charity) regarding to their construction features.
These are the 3 websites that I have chosen: I chose H&M Company for Private Sector, TFL for Public Sector and Barnardos Charity for NGO.
Differences:
=H&M Company and TFL have got the same menu bar position
but not with the website of Barnardo’s Charity.
=These 3 websites have used different colour scheme: H&M Company used black for their
headings, white for their background and red colour for their logo, TFL used blue for their logo and
headings and white for their background and Barnardo’s Charity used Green for
their logos and headings and white for their background.
=Each website used different kind of images where they put in
different positions.
=Each website has got different purposes:
-The purpose H&M Company’s website is to encourage
people to buy their products through online.
-The purpose of TFL’s website is to provide daily service
updates for everyone but on the other hand; their other purpose is also to make
money by selling oyster/travel cards through online.
-The purpose of Barnardo’s Charity is to encourage people to
help children to change their lives and also to make money by encouraging
people to donate and buy their products such as cards, book, etc.
Similarities:
-These 3 websites have the same logo’s position.
-Their menu bars are on the top.
-They also have got the same main purpose this is to make
money for their business.
Task 6:
In this task of assignment I am going to talk 2 different organisations (JustFab UK and Barnardo's Charity) and then, I am going to compare their main job roles and functions.
"JustFab stands for JustFabulous, founded by Don Ressler and Adam Goldenberg and launched in year 2010. It is an online fashion retailer selling; bags, shoes, clothes, jewelries, etc. If you want to join or register you do not have to pay anything."
Aim: JustFab's aim is to be the best online fashion
retailer in the UK.
Objective: is to expand their
business internationally within 5 years.
"Barnardo's Charity was founded by Thomas Barnardo in year 1867. Barnardos is one of the popular charities in the UK"
Aim: is to give hope to children who
are victims from abuse, poverty, etc. and help them to change their lives and
make them always happy to be able forget their pains.
Objectives: is to raise/make profit/money from selling
their products though in stores or through online. Also having a fundraising
activity for the charity is very helpful to get financial support for children’s
needs.
"JustFab and Barnardos have also got same things to be such
as both of the organisation want to be successful but they both have different
ways to make it happen; JustFab cbe an successful by selling the products through
online and the money that they make goes to shareholders but in Barnardos is very
different because Barnardos charity make money by selling products through
instore, online and donations but the money that they make they put it back in
the charity to be able give children’s needs."
